Spider Treatment

Spiders are usually associated with webs, but not all spiders, such as the huntsman create webs.

There many different species some are venomous and therefore may be harmful to human beings such as the redback and others although they look menacing such as the huntsman cause no harm.  Huntsman are actually very good predators of small insects in the home.

Did you know?
A female spider may lay four to ten egg sacs, each of which averages around 250 eggs, though can be as few as 40 or as many as 500. She can produce a new egg sac as early as one to three weeks after laying a previous one. The spiderlings hatch after about 8 days and emerge from the egg sac as early as 11 days after being laid, but cooler temperatures can significantly slow the development.
Spring time is the perfect time to BOOK your spider treatment before it gets warmer and before start of Summer.

Spider Control

Aussie Pest Inspections will provide spider control measures:

  • Thorough inspection is required before any treatment is carried out
  • Spider treatments include pesticides in the form of liquids, dusts and gasses
  • Treatment is carried out to: all exterior downpipes, window frames, gutters and all exterior walls, rubbish bins and roof voids
  • Recommendations to keep the spiders at bay

Ant Treatment

Ants can become a real problem, especially when they find their way into your home and cupboards through small crevices in exterior walls and floors. Our treatments treat both inside and outside your home so that you have an effective solution to your ant problem. Untreated these may become an infestation and normal insecticide sprays bought off of the shelf will not treat the problem effectively.

There are different species of ants and treatments will be determined by the species and severity of your issue.

Ants may become a problem after you have undergone some construction works, such as laying new pathways, drives or landscape gardening as this activity may disturb the ant nests.

Treatments are effective as they go to the source of the infestation with effective insecticides that are not harmful to your family or pets.

Call today to discuss your issue.

Cockroach Treatments

There are six main species of cockroach in Australia –  American, German, and Australian, Oriental Smokey Brown, and Brown Banded cockroaches.  They are omnivorous and can live on small quantities of food. Their habit of regurgitating the contents of their food onto surfaces  is responsible for contaminating surfaces with a whole range of bacteria including salmonella, which is why it is so important to eradicate them immediately with an effective cockroach treatment.

Methods of cockroach control:

  • Sealing of cockroach harborage areas such as cracks
  • Improving housekeeping and sanitation levels
  • The use of pheromone traps and baits
  • The use of pesticides in the form of liquids, gels, dusts and gasses
